Drive On Breakdown Assist
Available through Gallagher, and powered by the NZ Automobile Association (AA), Drive On Breakdown Assist is a roadside support service for business owners and their vehicles.
Whether it’s a flat battery, tyre, or lost keys, help isn’t far away.
Drive On is on available 24/7, there’s no call out limit and it doesn’t matter who’s driving at the time of breakdown as it’s the vehicle that’s covered not the driver.
Who can use Drive On?
Drive On is ideal for businesses whose employees share vehicles.
It's available for purchase by Gallagher clients with a commercial motor insurance policy, for vehicles weighing less than 5000kg GVM.
Drive On complements existing business vehicle insurance.
What Drive On covers
Included in the cover is:
- Assistance with mechanical breakdowns
- Help changing a flat tyre
- Flat battery recharge
- Faulty battery replacement (battery at driver's expense)
- Help to get back into the vehicle, if locked out
- Top up on fuel if the vehicle has run out
- Assistance if the vehicle has been incorrectly fuelled
- Help with vehicle recovery to a maximum value of $100 (incl. GST), additional charges at driver’s expense
- Assistance with after hours towing
- Help with caravans and trailer towing
