PSA member health and risk plan

Crombie Lockwood and the Public Service Association (PSA) offer members a range of insurance solutions to ensure members and their families can financially survive any serious health event
The PSA is New Zealand's largest union, representing over 65,000 workers in central government, state-owned enterprises, local councils, health boards and community groups.

What the PSA member insurance plan covers

Plans are tailored to families’ specific needs and can include the following financial protection:

  • Lump sum or monthly income following premature death
  • Monthly income when you are unable to work due to illness, injury or redundancy
  • Lump sum to relieve the financial strain if you suffer a critical illness or injury - whether or not you are off work
  • Cover the cost of private health care if you need surgery, treatment or investigations – providing you choices around when and where to be treated.

By taking advantage of our expertise, PSA members can have quicker access to private hospitals and help with the costs of non-urgent medical procedures and specialists. Life insurance means PSA members are financially provided for in case of a serious medical event or death.
