Crombie’s Auckland East Branch take some time out of their busy work life to spend a day at Mangemangeroa Reserve in Whitford.

The Branch was involved in some gruelling out door activities which involved removing Gorse from the depths of the forest, weeding along the walkway banks, planting of seedlings and clearing of overgrown areas.

There were definitely some sore bodies the next day, but it was good to get out in the fresh air and give back to our community.

It is easy to underestimate the amount of work that goes into keeping our Parks and Reserves looking amazing.  

Some staff members have already been back to enjoy the Walking Tracks and Scenic views on offer!
