Boston Marks insurance brokers and their associates join Gallagher’s growing family of insurance professionals.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co announced the acquisition of Boston Marks Insurance NZ in New Zealand, BMG Aviation in Australia and Boston Marks Insurance Brokers in the United Kingdom; part of the Boston Marks Group, in November 2018.

Boston Marks’ highly specialised offerings significantly expand Gallagher’s international brokerage capabilities in the aviation insurance sector, particularly in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Founded in 1985 as an independent insurance and reinsurance broker for the aviation sector, Boston Marks Group offers retail property and casualty brokerage services to aviation clients in Auckland, New Zealand; Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia; and London, England.

• Pat McLaughlan and his associates in New Zealand will continue to operate under the direction of Carl O’Shea, New Zealand CEO of Crombie Lockwood.
• Damian Hooper and his associates in Australia, will continue to operate from their current location, under the direction of Paul Harvey, Managing Director of Specialisms.
• Phil Stafford and his team will join Gallagher’s London office under the direction of Mark Walters, Executive Director, Aviation.
