Smart small businesses win advertising campaigns

A family-owned cider business, an automotive industry technology provider, and a cool café with a strong local following all took home advertising packages worth $5000 plus some quality insurance advice thanks to Crombie Lockwood and the just-launched SENZ sports talkback network.

Well-known Australian sports broadcasting network, the Sports Entertainment Network (SEN), recently brought its dedicated sports talkback and event coverage content platform to this side of the Tasman. SENZ was launched through over 30 radio frequencies from Russell in the north to Invercargill in the south and via the SENZ app.

Crombie Lockwood joined as a launch partner and over three months gave listeners the opportunity to nominate themselves or others as a ‘SME Business of the Month’ in their home region.

Three Wise Birds Cider, Race Chip and Niche Coffee + Eatery were the lucky winners

Worthy winners

Winners received a month-long $5,000 advertising package with SENZ. They also had the opportunity for expert insurance advice from local Crombie Lockwood insurance brokers on how SMARTpak could suit their individual business needs.

Reflecting the national spread of both the new SENZ broadcast network and Crombie Lockwood’s New Zealand footprint, small businesses from Hawke’s Bay and Canterbury came up trumps.

Crombie Lockwood happily extended congratulations to brothers Jack and Charley Crasborn from Hastings-headquartered Three Wise Birds Cider, along with Christchurch tech innovators Race Chip, which manufactures performance upgrades for motoring enthusiasts, and fellow Cantabrian Ben Holmes from Sumner’s Niche Coffee + Eatery.

All three businesses received some great on-air promotion and were delighted to have won.

SMARTpak is the smart insurance just for SMEs

Suitable for all ages and stages of business, SMARTpak has covers for material damage to a business’s physical contents due to fire, flood, earthquake, or theft and works to minimise the impact of lost income if a business can’t trade as usual.

A host of liability covers are also accounted for under the SMARTpak package, including employers and statutory liability, along with public liability covering business’s legal liability to pay damages to those who have suffered property damage or personal injury as a result of business activities.

SMARTpak also automatically covers liability for defective workmanship and property being worked on making it ideal for tradies. And naturally, with single or multiple vehicle fleets often representing vital tools of trade for SMEs, commercial motor vehicle coverage is also a key component of Crombie Lockwood’s SMARTpak offering.
